Why beef tallow?
The best part of a steak? The fatty and crispy edges. Now imagine your chips fried in that. That’s what Vaca Chips offers — real flavor, real crunch, and real ingredients.
We fry our chips in beef tallow, a traditional cooking fat that has used for generations. McDonald's used to use tallow before switching to seed oils in the 90's — it's why their fries used to be so good.
Unlike seed oils, beef tallow is heat-stable, nutrient-rich, and actually good for you. No industrial processing, no chemical solvents — just clean, natural fat your body can recognize and use.

Restaurant Style Chips
Most store-bought tortilla chips taste mass-produced — flat, bland, and forgettable. They're nothing like the warm, blistered chips you get at a good taquería.
Vaca Chips are different.
We make a restaurant-style chip that bubbles and flakes just like the real deal. Fried in beef tallow, they have a rich, creamy finish that sets them apart from anything on the shelf.
Once you taste the difference, there’s no going back.

About Us
Seven years ago, I cleaned up my diet.
I ditched the fast food and started eating real — steak, fruit, whole ingredients. I’ve always loved chips and salsa, but the more I learned about food, the more I realized almost all chips are cooked in seed oils.
So I decided to make my own.
I started testing different tortillas and cooking methods, and along the way, I brought in my friend Josh to help. Together, we spent months refining everything — dialing in the texture, the cook, and the flavor. That’s how Vaca Chips was born: fried in beef tallow, made with simple ingredients, and inspired by the kind of chip you’d get at a legit taquería.
Together, we’re building something we genuinely believe in.
